Soccer / Football Season 2019

Soccer / Football season runs from end of March to end of August each year.

REGISTRATIONS:

Parents of non-comp players U/5 to U/10 will only receive a full refund of fees if the decision not to play is made before Team Nominations close on  25th February 2019.

A $25.00 deregistration fee applies after this date.

 Parents receiving the NSW sports voucher rebate will not receive a refund as is non transferrable.

Parents need to evaluate which sport to claim rebate depending on costs of each sport played in 2018 as it is a 1 off rebate for 1 sport. voucher can't be split between sports. ie: $50.00 for Football & $50.00 for Cricket. $100.00 max for 1 sport.

All players need a passport size photo which can be taken and uploaded into www.playfootball.com.au online registration  All Age Players, Coaches, Managers & Committee ID’s to be renewed every 5 years after 1st Registration.

Passport size photo is of head only & will be rejected & have to be redone if not correct. Photos can be done at registration days or sent to club by JPG file. penrithrslsoccerclub@hotmail.com

TO BE FULLY REGISTERED AS A PLAYER MUST HAVE COMPLETED ONLINE REGISTRATION WITH www.penrithrslsoccerclub.com.au and www.playfootball.com.au   UPLOADED PASSPORT PHOTO TO PLAYFOOTBALL, PAID INVOICE TO PRSLSC BANK ACCOUNT AND JOINED PENRITH RSL CLUB Ltd. AND PRODUCED MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CONFIRMATION BY THE SECRETARY. One Parent of under 5 to under 18 players must join the Penrith RSL Club Ltd. 18 and over must be members of Penrith RSL Club Ltd.

PLAYER REGISTRATION CARDS WILL BE WITHHELD UNTIL REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE.

 

CANTEEN DUTY:

ALL PARENTS & PLAYERS 16 & OVER ARE REQUIRED TO DO CANTEEN DUTY AS NOTIFIED AS PART OF OUR MEMBERSHIP BYLAWS

As a member of Penrith RSL Soccer Club you are required to do at least 2 Hours Canteen Duty for the Soccer Club during the Season. Teams may get more than 1 Canteen duty through the Season & will be required at Finals Weekend.

We are a volunteer organisation and rely on your help to run the Canteen and your help is appreciated.


CODE OF CONDUCT: ALL PLAYERS, COACHES, MANAGERS, PARENTS AND SPECTATORS SHALL ABIDE BY THE PENRITH RSL SOCCER CLUB CODE OF CONDUCT.

ALL CODE OF CONDUCT VIOLATIONS WILL BE REPORTED TO THE MEMBER PROTECTION OFFICER FOR ACTION.

 

INSURANCE: All players are covered by a very basic cover for medical & hospital expenses. Accident cover forms can be downloaded from FNSW website. If a Player is injured at training or games report it to the Soccer Club Secretary. Claim Forms are to be downloaded from FNSW website. These must be filled in by the treating doctor and returned to the Soccer Club Secretary within 30 days of injury. They are then sent to the Association for forwarding.

 

FIELDS & COMPETITIONS: Home Ground is Jamison Park. The Competition is as set out by the N.F.A. Inc. for the Nepean area. THE 1ST DRAW WILL BE AVAILABLE THE WEEK THE COMP. STARTS. And will be available on NFA & PRSLSC website. Team Coaches and Managers will be notified as soon as the Club is advised the draw is available on the N.F.A. Inc. website.

Game Times are set out in 24 hour format. Ie: 0900 = 9am, 1330 = 1.30pm, 1420 = 2.20pm, 1500 = 3pm.

IF YOUR GAME IS TO START AT 0900 MEANS NETS UP. PARENTS PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY ENOUGH TO HELP WITH SET UP IF YOU HAVE 0900 KICK OFF. ALSO CHECK IF YOU HAVE LAST GAME OF DAY TO HELP PACK UP THE NETS AND CORNER POSTS.

 

PLAYER FINES: Any player sent off in a match and found guilty of that offence by the association P & D committee will incur a fine of $27.50 and stand down while under suspension. Players Card must be handed to the Soccer Club Secretary and will be returned when fine is paid and suspension served.

Further send offs incur a $60.00 fine and longer sentences.

 

CAPS: Peaked caps are not approved as player equipment. Floppy cotton hats may be worn in games on hot days.

 

TEAM TRAINING:  TRAINING BLOCK TIMES FOR MAIN FULL SIZE FIELDS:   6 – 7.30 PM & 7.30 – 9.00 PM

THE TEAM COACH WILL NOMINATE THE DAY AND TIME THEY WISH TO TRAIN THE TEAM TO THE SOCCER CLUB SECRETARY. DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY OF FIELDS FOR TRAINING. TEAMS ARE TO ADHERE TO THE DAY AND TIME BLOCK. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF TEAMS THAT TRAIN BETWEEN TUESDAY & THURSDAY. TEAMS MAY START TRAINING AFTER THE GRADINGS ARE COMPLETED AND TEAMS SELECTED AT THE END OF FEBRUARY.

 PLAYERS ARE TO WEAR SHIN PADS AT TRAINING. CRICKET HAVE PRIORITY UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF MARCH.

  

CLUB UNIFORM:

 PLAYERS SHIRT: GOLD BODY, BLUE & WHITE PANELS (SUPPLIED BY CLUB AND TO BE KEPT IN MANAGERS KIT.) IE: TO BE HANDED OUT AND RETURNED TO THE MANAGER AFTER EACH GAME. PARENTS TAKE TURNS TO WASH AND RETURN TO MANAGER AT TRAINING.

Team Managers are responsible for Playing Strip until it’s return  to Club AT END OF SEASON.

SHORTS: ROYAL BLUE WITH GOLD & WHITE PANELS. (AVAILABLE FROM CANTEEN)     $20.00

SOCKS:    ROYAL BLUE WITH GOLD TOP WITH CLUB LOGO ON LEG. (AVAILABLE FROM CANTEEN)   $10.00

SHIN PADS: ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR SHIN PADS THAT COVER AT LEAST 75% OF LEG

BOOTS: NON- COMPETITIVE 5 – 8 CAN WEAR SNEAKERS.  COMPETITION TEAMS COMPULSORY.

 

 

GRADINGS:

Where grading is held in a particular age group, player will be selected according to ability and placed in teams. If a player wishes to stay with mates then they need not trial but must advise on registration which Coach they wish to play under.

AN APPEAL ON A GRADING DECISION MUST BE LODGED IN WRITING WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE TRIALS CONCLUDING TO THE SOCCER CLUB SECRETARY FOR A HEARING. NOTE: ALL TEAM MANAGERS REQUIRE AN EMAIL ADDRESS. Team Managers shall set up a contact list of players.

ALL INFORMATION IS ISSUED TO TEAM MANAGERS TO KEEP TEAM MEMBERS UP TO DATE either by email or SMS.

 

COMPETITION TEAM MANAGERS ARE TO CHECK WEEKLY FOR GAME DRAW CHANGES ON NFA WEBSITE.

DRAW CHANGES ARE POSTED USUALLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT ON THE WEBSITE BUT ALSO CHECK FRIDAY NIGHT FOR LATE CHANGES TO DRAW. www.nepeansoccer.com.au

 

THE SOCCER CLUB SETS UP & OPERATES AN EMAIL FORWARD SYSTEM TO TEAM COACHES & MANAGERS FROM NEPEAN. There may be times when this may not work, so make sure by checking NFA competitions page on Friday night for late changes.
